Loving Life and Getting Stronger Every Day!
I'm happily married to my best friend and the mother of a preschooler. I've had weight problems my entire life. I am hoping to end those problems forever by focusing on HEALTH, not necessarily numbers. I am learning to love pushing myself by running, kickboxing, dancing, strength training and doing yoga - all at home. My Program:
I am doing the strength program that this site gave me, and I am walking with my son around the neighborhood as well as exploring different workout videos to keep my interest, such as dance, yoga, and pilates. I'm also a new runner! Completed 8 week 5k program - will continue to run and work on endurance and time and start another program soon!
Personal Information:
My name is Katie, I'm a mom and wife - my favorite "jobs" lol :) Also I am the treasurer of an association, I volunteer at the local library and help out at my husband's family business among other things :)
Other Information:
I love reading (which is quite helpful on the treadmill) and I love nature, though I'm still learning how to get out in it more often. I'm also into learning to meditate, working on my mind and spirit as well as body.
