Heart of a Champion, working on the Body of an Athlete

After reaching a fitness "plateau," I am looking for ways to take my fitness and health to a new level.

Earlier in 2011, I lost 6% body fat by sticking to a cardio routine (5-6 days/week) and committing to a mat pilates class (2 days/week). I was impressed by my results: though I only lost 3 pounds, I increased my lean muscle mass and shed unwanted body fat. These changes, however "slight," have motivated me to pursue a healthy body transformation. I love all of the ideas and ...

Thanks for the friend add. Tough Mudder was tough, but well worth the challenge. You definitely feel like you've accomplished something. If you do decided to do it next year, I would definitely recommend a lot of leg strength training if your course is on a mountain/ski resort like they tend to choose. I was fine cardio-wise, but I wish I had had stronger legs before hand for those mountains.
