I Want to Make a Change

I'm a 26 year old mother and student living in Buckhead. I love to read, sing, and cook. Since my teen years, I've steadily gained weight and I've finally decided to do more than be upset about it. I've tried fad diets before and grueling workouts, I'm hoping a more sane approach like the Spark will help me stay motivated. Looking for friends to workout or walk with as well.

My Goals:
I'm hoping to lose weight and feel better. For a long time it was about the vanity, but the older I get the more it's about just feeling better physically and emotionally.

My Program:
Drinking more water and less of everything else, working to meet my 90 min. weekly goal and then some!

The motivation has arrived! I am going to send you an invitation to join the Summer 5% Weight Loss Challenge. Get on the Starfish Team, it's a high energy rocking team. This spring I've only done 3% but that is 6 pounds and there is still a week to go! I love the support and friendliness of the people.

Happy Monday!!!

I always think that the start to a new week is the perfect time to get back on track with eating right and exerising if things didn't go quite as planned over the weekend.

I got an unexpected day off today and plan to hit the gym and get an extra long workout in!!

What do you need help being motivated with? Any time you want just stop by my page whether you want motivation, help, or just want to moan and complain I'm on here everyday at different times of the day.

I was reading the comments about not eating. This year I am eating high fiber dinners to keep me full after dinner. If I get the urge I go to bed a little earlier. I am training myself to not reward myself with food for staying up late.

Good to know I am not the only bugged by women exercising in push up bras, etc. LOL.
