GO SPARKPEOPLE! YA!...

I am a student and I have been trying to figure out how to balance a healthy lifestyle while studying. Usually I start the term out well, I go to the gym frequently, eat healthy and mostly within my calories. By midterm I start feeling the stress and I start thinking that i don't have time for the gym and cooking healthy becomes less of a priority. Sitting with my nose in my text almost all day and not paying too much attention to my calories always makes me gain back the weight I have worked ...

By midterm I start feeling the stress and I start thinking that i don't have time for the gym and cooking healthy becomes less of a priority. Sitting with my nose in my text almost all day and not paying too much attention to my calories always makes me gain back the weight I have worked hard to lose.
I am starting to get better at keeping a healthy lifestyle and dealing with the stress of studying at the same time. But it is HARD! If you have some tips please share them!

My Program:
I do various cardio at the gym. Usually I do 2 or 3 machines (elliptical, treadmill, bike, occasionally step and rowing machines) to mix it up a bit. I love too challenge myself and beat my own records.

For strength training I normally do pump class at the gym. I LOVE pump!

Right now I am reading Burn the Fat, Feed the Muscle. It is by far the most realistic program I have seen yet... I will let you know after though :)

Personal Information:
I am a Winnipeger (Canada). Although I have lived for short periods of time all over Canada with my previous job! I really discovered how truely beautiful Canada really is! Even Toronto can be nice...eheheh.
I had also spent a year and a half in England. I really miss it there and sometimes I am torn between the two countries.

Other Information:
Fav Movie:
1. Bridgette Jones, Hey, isn't there a little bit of Bridgette in all of us?
2. Legally Blonde, (Just the first one, the second one is not good.) Ya, I know but its a feel good movie.
3. Blood Diamond :TIA!

Oh, man. My heart is full. Honesttogod. I never expected to feel this pride in my country. I've gotten so used to the cynicism and necessary apologies. I don't remember where I heard it but that was one of the things I heard after Obama was elected: that he had managed to take a whole generation (mine) and convince us that the cynicism was not necessary. That that dream of working together for a better world was alive and could be fanned to life with our breath and our belief.

For the world :-)

I've wondered where you've been. Miss you on the political threads - but sheesh. Certain people are very touchy if you don't live in the US! So I figured maybe that was why?

All fine - nervous as heck about the outcome of the election. It's so incredible that we can be so nervous - ahead in the polls, huge huge crowds in Obama rallies - and still McCain claims he can do it... But we are the party of hope. And we believe we can! :-)

Thanks for the comments. I like that picture, too. It was a funny situation - but you get no details. :-) How are YOU doing?

Thanks - I like this profile image, too. Says one heck of a lot with just a few lines, doesn't it?! I wish you could vote in this election. hahahahahaha

HI! Yes, I actually have grown to enjoy pickled herring. :-) It's good on a Danish open-faced sandwich.

Nice bush stamp! :-) haHA!
