It is never too late to be what you might have been.

I am a 34 yr old mother of two boys and I am sure more at some point! Me and my husband have been married for almost 13 yrs and he is my best friend and biggest support. I gave up my career as a teacher to homeschool and life is pretty relaxed and happy for us! I have felt for a while and still do that 2009 is going to be special and lots of good things are coming our way!!!

My weight has been a constant monkey on my back for years. Somehow I manage to shed it..but it creeps ...

My weight has been a constant monkey on my back for years. Somehow I manage to shed it..but it creeps back. At this point saying I have trepidations is an understatement. Fail on enough diets and show little enough after enough exercise trials you begin to think it is you...and you will never get there. That is ok...I am entering things wihout a loud bang this time. I am nervous, but that is keeping me more conscientious of what goes into my mouth. I have finally found a great book that lays at a clear routine for exercise for the bowflex crowding up the patio (: I am jogging again.

There is no rush to jump on the scale. One day at a time is my motto...actually one moment and whenever I get there...I get there!! I am trying to enjoy the journey but it is a bit like being on an airplane waiting to land at that great destination. Wish me luck!!!

My Goals:
My main goal at this early stage is simply to track my food and portions daily and to get my weekly exercise.

My Program:
I am following the nutrition trackers set calories. I am following a set routine for bowflex and getting cardio, either jogging or walking, at least 3x per week.

Other Information:
Yes...I have a life outside of this weight thing!! I love to scrapbook, read, hang out with my family, go on weekend getaways together, bike ride and cook.
