It's little ole me! (the little part to follow...tho I'm a tad bit closer now!)

Joined the 2015 Spring 5% Challenge! It starts soon and I am really excited!! I need to be consistent. I need to lose this weight because it saps my energy and strength trying to lug me around!! I'm down to a sz 14 !! I'm ultimately headed for 115 pounds and if I'd really been working these past few of years, I think I should have been there by now!!! Or a heck of alot closer than this!! So, help me if you can and kick my tushie when you see me being lazy!!

Gotta do this and nobody can do it for me! Gotta "make it happen"!!!!
. Gonna work my butt off to make at least 5% if not more! Gonna walk 20-30 minutes each day, and get in some workout when walking isn't possible. I will get to the gym 2X's/week for circuits & use the treadmill when I cannot get out and walk . I will keep to my nutrition tracker. I have asked DH to do more cooking from "The Spark Solution b/c I really don't like to cook and he does. Gotta be consistant and persistant to a fault!!! I want to be a good teammate and will check in with my team as often as possible. I will weigh in every Saturday morning and post it & post exercise minutes and LTGL daily to my team and help bring in my team to the top 3 each week!! ( Can you tell I'm a bit competitive??)

Scale is dusted off....(I weigh every Sat.)
Exercise clothes and gym bag are ready to go.
Water bottle ready.
Exercise plan is in place.
Diet consisting of lean meats (or some kind of good protein), lots of freggies and fiber and try harder to drink water. Will cook & eat Chef Meg's recipes as often as possible.
Will track daily and visit with my team.
I want to lose this weight for the following reasons:
1) health
2) Get back to the weight I should be!
3) Being barely over 5', I should be much lighter for optimum health and well-being.
4) To wear nicer clothes and look better in them!
5) To save my knees and hips and back!
6) To feel normal and confident again!

I am fortunate that I really have no "trigger" foods. That is to say, if I DO eat a "no-no" food, it doesn't get me off track. I will mindfully eat said "no-no" food (a small amt.) and stay right on track beyond that. I don't throw in the towel for the day or week, etc. That's one of the best things I have reaped from SP over the last few years. ( I have lately, however, been caving to my sugar addiction, so will be working diligently on that, too.) So here's the update! If I start to sound lazy or gripey, kick my tush!!!

Here I go in the 2015 Spring 5% challenge. Gonna work harder, do my best to be consistent and keep at the lower end of my calorie range! Have plans for better movement. I have a hefty goal in mind this time, so pray for my success!!! I'm getting rid of this 5% this time! At Least! Let's do this, my SParky friends!

My Goals:
Lose at least 5% of my weight throughout these next 2 months.
Exercise EVERY day, even if it's only my QF's.
Walking 1 - 2 miles daily (& more if the opportunity presents itself.)

My Program:
Counting calories and staying within my range, and following the Spark Solution meals & recipes. They are good and they are so much better that the "standart American diet"!!!
Getting my fruits and vegies.
Drink water and green tea (after my coffee)
Exercise every day.

Personal Information:
Originally Uniontown, Pa....now Hickory, NC . Love critters, gardening, walking and trying out a new recipe now and again.

Other Information:
Babysit my DGDs when they get off the school bus at my house after school and their parents work. They are the loves of my life! 5 years old( kindergarden) and 10 yr old (4th grade)!
Have a 24 year old DS living at home and a DH. Also, have my 15 year old beagle mix (Bruno) who is my shadow.
I love SP!! AND I love all my SPark friends!!

Thanks for your nice comments on my blog, and I'm glad you were able to get your walk in and not get rained on. Decisions, decisions! But you chose the right way this time! And don't you feel good when you know you've gotten your walk in?

Last day of painting on the pickets, tomorrow morning the guy will be here to nail it together. And then I promise I will post a photo now that I have the camera down here. I'm definitely ready for a couple days of R&R, so we'll be heading up to Yarnell soon and at least stay over the weekend.

Thank YOU!

A lot of it is getting back into my daily walking! I get used to eating but haven't "earned" the extra calories - plus sitting leaves too much time for munching! Every walk is time I cannot eat!!

Thank you for nudging me in the right direction and understanding my falling by the wayside occasionally.
