Joined the 2016 Spring 5% Challenge! It starts soon and I am really excited!! I need to be consistent. I need to lose this weight because it saps my energy and strength trying to lug Me around!! I was down to a sz 14 and can wear the stretchy material jeans in a 14 still, but the 16 feels so much better!! Had to break down and buy a 16, but only 1 pair! I'm ultimately headed for 112 pounds and if I'd really been working these past few of years, I think I should have been there by now!!! Or a heck of alot closer than this!! So, help me if you can and kick my tushie when you see me being lazy!!
Gotta do this and nobody can do it for me! Gotta "make it happen"!!!!
. Gonna work my butt off to make at least 5% if not more! Gonna walk 20-30 minutes each day as a bare minimum! I'll get in some workout when walking isn't possible at the gym & use the treadmill when I cannot get out and walk . I really need to get in some real strength training in at least 2Xs per week. I will keep to my nutrition tracker. I have asked DH to do more cooking from "The Spark Solution" b/c I really don't like to cook and he does, (but I will have to bite that bullet b/c he refuses to cook Chef Meg's recipes). Gotta be consistant and persistant to a fault!!! I want to be a good teammate and will check in with my team as often as possible. I will weigh in every Saturday morning and post it & post exercise minutes and LTGL daily to my team and help bring in my team to the top 3 each week!! ( Can you tell I'm a bit competitive??)

Scale stays dusted off....(I weigh every Sat.)
Exercise clothes and gym bag are ready to go.
Water bottle ready.
Exercise plan is in place.
Diet consisting of lean meats (or some kind of good protein), lots of freggies and fiber and try harder to drink water. Will cook & eat Chef Meg's recipes as often as possible.
Will track daily and visit with my team.
I want to lose this weight for the following reasons:
1) health
2) Get back to the weight I should be!
3) Being barely over 5', I should be much lighter for optimum health and well-being.
4) To wear nicer clothes and look better in them!
5) To save my knees and hips and back!
6) To feel normal and confident again!

I have really developed some "trigger" foods. The worst is milkshakes from CookOut. Especially when the weather is hot. Will take a lot of drinking ice water to get over that one! I will mindfully eat said "no-no" food (a small amt.) and stay right on track beyond that. I don't throw in the towel for the day or week, etc. That's one of the best things I have reaped from SP over the last few years. ( I have lately, however, been caving to my sugar addiction, so will be working diligently on that, too.) So here's the update! If I start to sound lazy or gripey, kick my tush!!!

Here I go in the 2016 Spring 5% challenge. Gonna work harder, do my best to be consistent and keep at the lower end of my calorie range! Have plans for better movement. I have a hefty goal in mind this time, so pray for my success!!! I'm getting rid of this 5% this time! At Least! Let's do this, my SParky friends!

Fitness Minutes: 84,103

My Goals:
Lose at least 5% of my weight throughout these next 2 months.
Exercise EVERY day, even if it's only my QF's.
Walking 30 minutes at least, daily, and pare down the time it takes me to do it (& more if the opportunity presents itself)!


My Program:
Counting calories and staying within my range, and following the Spark Solution meals & recipes. They are good and they are so much better that the "standart American diet"!!!
Getting my fruits and vegies.
Drink water and green tea (after my coffee)
Exercise every day.

Other Information:
Babysit my DGDs when their mom needs me too as their parents work. They are the loves of my life! 6 years old( 1st grade) and 11 yr old ( 5th grade)!
Have a 25 year old DS living at home and a DH. I am bereft of my sweet poochie boy, Bruno. I miss him sooooo much!!!
I love SP!! AND I love all my SPark friends!!
