5% Challenge! It starts soon and I am really excited!! I need to be consistent. I need to lose this weight (around 40 pounds total) because it saps my energy and strength trying to lug me around!! I also have found some of my old clothes that were stored that I really love and they'll never fit me till I get under 150 and some not till considerably smaller!I might find some I can already get into. 5% Challenge! It starts soon and I am really excited!! I need to be consistent. I need to lose this weight (around 40 pounds total) because it saps my energy and strength trying to lug me around!! I also have found some of my old clothes that were stored that I really love and they'll never fit me till I get under 150 and some not till considerably smaller!I might find some I can already get into. I'm down to a sz 12/14 !! I'm headed for 115 pounds and if I'd really been working these past couple of years, I think I should have been there by now!!! Or a heck of alot closer than this!! So, help me if you can and kick my tushie daily!!
Gotta do this and nobody can do it for me! Gotta "make it happen"!!!!
. Gonna work my butt off to make at least 5% if not more! Gonna walk 20-30 minutes each day, and get in some workout when walking isn't possible. I will get to the gym 3X's/week for circuits & use the treadmill when I cannot get out and walk or have a walking partner. I will keep to my nutrition tracker. I have asked DH to do more cooking from "The Spark Solution) b/c I really don't like to cook and he does. Gotta be consistant and persistant to a fault!!! CLOVERLEAFs are awesome!! I want to be a good teammate and will check in with my team as often as possible and will huddle every day! I will weigh in every Saturday morning and post it, and I will track my nutrition and fitness daily, post exercise minutes and LTGL daily to my team and help bring in my wonderful CLOVERLEAF's to the top 3 each week!! ( Can you tell I'm a bit competitive??)
Scale is dusted off....(I weigh every Sat.)
Exercise clothes and gym bag are ready to go.
Water bottle ready.
Exercise plan is in place.
Diet consisting of lean meats (or some kind of good protein), lots of freggies and fiber and try harder to drink water. Will cook & eat Chef Meg's recipes as often as possible.
Will track daily and huddle with my team daily.
I want to lose this weight for the following reasons:
2) Get back to the weight I should be!
3) Being barely over 5', I should be about 40 pounds lighter for optimum health and well-being.
4) To wear nicer clothes and look better in them!
5) To save my knees and hips and back!
6) To feel normal and confident again!
I am fortunate that I really have no "trigger" foods. That is to say, if I DO eat a "no-no" food, it doesn't get me off track. I will mindfully eat said "no-no" food (a small amt.) and stay right on track beyond that. I don't throw in the towel for the day or week, etc. That's one of the best things I have reaped from SP over the last few years. ( I have lately, however, been caing to my sugar addiction, so will be working diligently on that, too. So here's the update! If I start to sound lazy or gripey, kick my tush!!!

Here I go in the 2014 Summer 5% challenge. Am in the high 150's/low 160's (yes, I gained over the last month or so). Gonna work harder, do my best to be consistent and keep at the lower end of my calorie range! Have plans for better movement. I have a hefty goal in mind this time, so pray for my success!!! I'm getting rid of this 5% this time! At Least! Let's do this, my SParky friends!

Lose at least 5% of my weight throughout these next 2 months.
Exercise EVERY day, even if it's only my QF's.
Walking 1 - 2 miles daily (& more if the opportunity presents itself.)
Counting calories and staying within my range, and following the Spark Solution meals & recipes. They are good and they are so much better that the "standart American diet"!!!
Getting my fruits and vegies.
Drink water and green tea (after my coffee)
Exercise every day.
Originally Uniontown, Pa....now Hickory, NC . Love critters, gardening, walking and trying out a new recipe now and again.
Babysit my DGD when I have to be the one to pick her up from pre-k while her big sister is in third grade and her parents work. She is the love of my life! 4 years old!
Have a 23 year old DS living at home and a DH. Also, have my 15 year old beagle mix (Bruno) who is my shadow.
I love SP!! AND I love all my SPark friends!!
