I've been buying organic for about a year now! I buy almost everything organic, and I ALWAYS buy fruit and veg organic if you eat the whole fruit/berry/leaf/whatever. The pesticides used are not only bad for the environment, but they also kill antioxidents in the produce. Mangos are actually pretty safe to eat non-organic, but my produce place just happens to only sell mangos grown in california, and they are organic :-) Bananas, papaya, kiwi, pineapple, avocado, mango, onion (fruit and veg where you don't eat the skin is the GENERAL rule) are all low in pesticides and safe to eat non-organic. The ones you should ALWAYS buy organic are berries, greens, apples, stone fruit, celery, grapes and potatos.
Also, a lot of times, things like organic chocolate and coffee are fairtrade, which is always good to support. As well as buying produce from local farms, which are most likely organic.
Happy Organic Eating!
