MY page background is a picture collage I created of the Farmer's Market in Kelowna B.C. Canada

Alot of personal stuff has changed in my life due to aging. I no longer have my dog, have a cat now. Gave up my community garden plot as can't do what I used to. One advantage, get to visit all the wonderful public gardens, that I never seemed to have had the time to do before.

My Goals:
I have surpassed my goal weight. It has taken many years, as I have reached each goal weight twice before and now this is my third success.

I focused on 5 lbs loses, doing it in baby steps. Not worrying about the total lbs that I really had to loose.

This is an update, goal weight surpassed.

Scale reads 125 lbs.

Scale reads 110 lbs.


My Program:
My new habits for a healthier ME:

I have replaced all poor food choices of the past.

I really hate the thought and the word EXERCISE!

Though I realize it is very important for a healthier mind and body.

My choices lean towards activities that I enjoy doing and can do well into my late senior years.

Such as walking, swimming. aqua-size.
Stretching, sit ups, using an exercise ball and stretch ropes to stengthening my muscles and bones, along with using my treadmill, when the weather is poor.

    Just a quick note to say hello and let you know I'm finally back from my summer travels and ready to start getting back into a Spark routine. I was getting pretty discouraged and frustrated at the beginning of the summer after 6 months of diligent effort and virtually no results. Now I'm working on figuring out a hopefully more successful "plan B". I've decided the first step is to start getting back in contact with some of my Spark Friends and posting on my teams again. I've joined the 55+ Female Team Challenge to "lose 10 pounds by Christmas" but so far am not feeling like the chance of success for me is very high. Hopefully my attitude will improve some as time goes by and I start getting back into the swing of things.
