I'm the mother of 5, grandmother to 11 and great-grandmother to 2...lovin every one of them!! Married 47 years to the same man and thankful that he's come to an awareness of his health issues and wants to change things. He's walking outside with me now and we're having a great time doing that. I'm a nurse by profession, and have practiced holistic health for many years. I have several hobbies which include sewing, beading, gardening, photography, baking, bird watching, traveling.... ...

3/30/09 I haven't been here in quite a while and things have changed a bit. I've adopted a RAW FOOD lifestyle and NO MORE WEIGHT PROBLEMS. I went through the holidays without so much as an ounce of extra weight. I have so much energy I hardly know what to do with myself. Life is really good!!

Wear a size 8 or 10 comfortably...and stay that way.
Be able to run and play with my grandkids.

My Program:
Eat as much organic food as I can get by growing my own and/or buying it.
Cardio 4 days a week and strengthening 2 days.
Log my food and fitness efforts daily and be especially careful about weekends.

I'm back again.....just like last time, I have gotten off track and need to change some habits I've adopted. I know I feel better when I'm 10# less than I am right now....... and I WANT to feel better. Actually, for my age, I'm doing super.. and way ahead of most women of my age group. I'm thankful!!

Well, here I am.... back! Got off track and realized when I saw recent pictures of myself that things weren't lookin' too good! Time to get back on the wagon. I'm the one who said it's easier to STAY in shape than it is to GET in shape. Well, now I gotta get back in shape!! Starting today, I had a 1 hr StotT Pilates workout which felt really good. That will be part of my exercise routine. I love the stretching. Okay, enough talking; now I'm getting into ACTION!!
