I'm a busy SAHM to 5 great kids! I've held on to a "little" weight after each pregnancy, and now that I'm done having kids, I'm done being heavy! I plan to feel comfortable and confident in my own skin. I'm also about to hit "40" this spring, and I refuse to be depressed on that day because of the way I look!

Enough is enough! Time to take care of me and get my body back!

6 MONTH UPDATE!

Well I'm still here! That's saying alot all on it's own!

What I've accomplished in 6 months:
weightloss has been steady...down 23 lbs from my highest. I still have many lbs to go, but for the first time ever, I really BELIEVE that I'll get there if I just stick with it!

consistency...I've never missed a week of exercise since starting SP! I've learned missing a day here or there won't kill me (and with kids it's inevitable that my routine will be disrupted)! As long as I don't go a whole week without exercise, I feel like my habit is still intact. I actually LOVE this part of my day!

positive attitude...I've endured many disappointments on the scale, and will probably always struggle with this...feeling like I've worked my tail off and counted my calories, I NEED to see losses on the scale EVERY week! But I now know that there are many other factors that play a role, such as sleep and stress. I've been learning patience with myself and the scale, and avoiding all the negative self-talk.

happiness!...Yes I've learned to be happy in these past months! I'm healthier, my clothes fit, and I'm a better mom to my kids!

weight loss goal #1-
169lbs by March 6 (bday)
GOAL MET MARCH 6, 2009

#2- 160 by end of April, oldest son's birthday.
GOAL MET 159.5 May 22nd. That darn plateau put me back by a month...will have to reset goals to be more realistic!

#3- 155 lbs
GOAL MET 8-21-09
It's taken me all summer to lose a mere 4 pounds, but really I'm just happy the scale is moving!

UPDATED GOALS JAN '10

#4 Be in the 140's (officially) by my birthday on March 6.

#5 Run another 5K in the Spring

#6 Be in the 130's by July 4th

#8- 127 goal weight weekend away with my sweetie!

Baby steps:
#1 Water! (quit the diet coke)
#2 don't eat past 7pm
#3 fruits and veggies and whole grains!
#4 10,000 steps every day!
