My name is Lisa, I am 51 years old, I was born and raised in Oceanside, CA. I now live in NE Oregon. Wow, do I miss the ocean!

Have been married to JIm for 21 years. We have a blended family of 6 children and 12 grandchildren.

I was thin my whole life, about the age of 35, I started gaining weight. Do not know why, Dr.s didn't know why. When I was 36 we moved from So. CA to rural NE Oregon, the weight packed on... At about 42 I got asthma, had to take steroids all ...

I was thin my whole life, about the age of 35, I started gaining weight. Do not know why, Dr.s didn't know why. When I was 36 we moved from So. CA to rural NE Oregon, the weight packed on... At about 42 I got asthma, had to take steroids all the time. My lungs failed when I was 47, so, now I have to take more steroids. Exercise is really hard, but I am trying to get in 10,000 steps aday. On days I work, it is easy. But days off, it is just too cold outside to walk.

I know what you mean about it being hard to get enough steps in in an day when it's so cold outside. I count on the steps I do at work and that's not enough; plus walking outside changes my outlook for the better. Hang in there! Jackie, Angels on Earth team member.

Hi Lisa, Welcome to the Meditation and Weight Loss team. I am also a relatively new member and want to be more active on the team. I am interested to find out, from visiting your page, that there is an EFT/tapping for weight control team. I'm going to go join it right now. I have been to a couple of workshops on EFT and would like to integrate it into my life, and also into my work as a psychologist. I'm looking forward to talking with you more in the future.
