My name is Diana and I am maintaining lifetime healthy eating habits and exercise is an important part of every day. The biggest motivators for my weight loss are physical and mental health, and to live a long life for my family.

To learn a more balanced and healthy eating pattern and to practice a regular fitness regimen to improve health and lose weight.
In December 2005, I joined the Jenny Craig program and, over the course of 10 months, lost 68 pounds by using their food program and hiking/walking/rollerskating and being very active with my daughter. In Summer of 2007, I gained back almost half the weight in four months. Thanks to friends here on Spark, since August '07 I lost all the weight to get to my final goal in Summer of 2008. Unfortunately, since Feb. '09, I slowly regained just over 30 lbs, but I am determined to stop it NOW!
My current program is...no program! I have to learn to think about the food going into my body, and nowadays that should consist of fruit, veggies, healthy whole grains and fish and small amounts of dairy and chicken (with red meat only 2 to 3 times per month).
I plan to return to my favorite stand-by activities - walk and hike as much as possible, do yoga/stretches and dance a little every day.
Born and raised in the Appalachian Mountains; moved to Central Florida over 20 years ago. I am currently working as a professional fundraiser for a national non-profit health organization, and for fun I write, act, sing, surf the net and I am a serious theme park junkie.
I read everything I possibly can, am extremely spiritual though not overtly religious and can't go one single day without listening to Dave Matthews Band.
I love to act; the last show I participated in was Aug/Sept '05, I played the role of Truvy in "Steel Magnolias" for Square Theatre in Ocala, FL. These days I mostly write, sing and pour my creativity into my job.
