I was overweight for a long long time, like nearly 20 years. I finally had the perfect storm of stuff that lead me to getting healthy in 2008. I went from 204.6# on 1 Jan 08 to 148.8 on 2 Sept 08.

I maintained for over 3 years, but stress over the last several have led me to eating a lot of feelings and internalizing some very negative messages from a very bad job situation. It has taken me nearly 2 years to fight back from that internalized negativity and PTSD.

I have been at my new job for 13 months now and I finally feel like I have a solid floor on which I can begin to rebuild and get back on the path to the person I know I can be.

REBOOT weigh ins:

Thanks for all the encouragement for my 5K! I showed up but I guess it was cancelled. A few other runners where there waiting with the same questions I was wondering - are we in the right place? do we have the right date? where are the directors of the event? We finally gave up when it was after 8 am (starting time) and still no one was there. Oh well, hopefully the next 5K in two weeks will actually happen. LOL. emoticon
