I've always been the artsy/couch-potato type; never really played any sports. I danced for a few years, on and off, through my younger years. I was a bit more athletic in my last years of high school, where I reached a weight of about 117 lbs. I'm 5'1" and a half so that was a really healthy weight considering I was mostly muscle back then. A few years later, I got stuck around 128-130 lbs. Since I joined SparkPeople in September 2009, I've been able to maintain my weight around 120-122 lbs. I think I still have a bit more fat to lose but I've been putting on more muscle lately, with all the Muay Thai training, so the number on the scale really isn't worrying me that much anymore. -------------------- Words I live by: "Don't ask yourself what the world needs; ask yourself what makes you come alive. My Goals:
I used to have weight goals on here but the number on the scale really isn't my focus anymore. Ideally, I'd like to be 115 lbs of pure muscle but we'll see about that! I have workout goals galore, though! But the main one is: - Go to the gym 4 or 5 times a week to do Muay Thai, Boxing and MMA.
My Program:
I stick to healthy portions, lots of whole grains, fruits & veggies and lean protein. Oh and I drink LOTS of water! But hey, I'm human (and a woman) so I eat chocolate almost every day! Or something sweet at least :) My program looks like this: At least 4 hours of Muay Thai and Boxing a week (5 is better) Light cardio on my off day Weekends OFF! Gotta work hard and play hard!
