Since graduating from high school I've gained 100 pounds. Graduation was 9 years ago but 100 pounds is a staggering number. I am unhappy with my weight. I want to be more comfortable in my own skin. I want to stop snoring so much at night LOL and be able to run and play with my nephews without feeling like I'm gonna pass out. I want to stop snoring so much at night LOL and be able to run and play with my nephews without feeling like I'm gonna pass out. I joined Spark two years ago thinking I was gonna loose weight but that has yet to happen. One thing I can say is that my weight has remained constant but my inches fluctuate. I loose inches faster than I loose pounds which is something. My Goals:
I would like to be healthy. I am the biggest I have ever been. My bad cholesterol is too high for my taste and my good cholesterol is only at 40 when it should be 50 above. I'm not getting any younger and I do NOT want to need a scooter in 10 years because I can't around.
My Program:
Right now I'm taking it one step at a time. For my body weight 17 cups of water a day is recommended but right now I'm concentrating on making sure I get 8. I'm cutting all white starches and making sure I have a daily intake of fruit and veggies. I've also committed to doing NO LESS than 30 mins of cardio along with strength training every other day.
