HERE I GO AGAIN!

I have decided to redo my Sparkpage since the old information was terribly inaccurate!

I started SP in Jan. '07 at 154 pounds. By June '07 I was 127 pounds! Woo Hoo, I lost 27 pounds in 5 months. I was flying high and feeling great! I was so proud of myself...
Fast Forward to Aug, '08- I am back up to 146, because of my lack of willpower and my love for food. I am also feeling so disappointed in myself and I NEED to get back on track NOW.

Although I did put back on 19 pounds, not all was lost. Because of SP I have developed a love for exercise. I have also given up soda and now have a love for water! Who would have thought! LOL!

My Goals:
To generally be more active! To spend LESS time in front of the TV and PC and MORE time : exercising, cleaning out the clutter in my house, cooking healthy homemade meals etc...
To look better and feel better.
To be able to wear a swimsuit.
To increase my endurance when doing cardio.


My Program:
Wear my pedometer EVERY day and strive to get 9,000-10,000 steps per day.

Drink 8-10 glasses of water a day.

Track everything that goes in my mouth. Try to keep my caloric intake between 1,200-1,500.

Cardio 5 times a week for at least 25 minutes. Strength training 2-3 times a week. (strength is the hard one for me).

To keep my cocktails (beer!) to a minimum.

To not mess up a whole day or weekend because of a slip.





Personal Information:
My name is Amy and I live in Western NY. I have been married for 10 years to a wonderful man who supports me in all my endeavors! I have an 18 year old daughter and 3 stepdaughters. (17, 17, & 21) And also a 3 year old granddaughter! Also 2 dogs and 1 cats!

Other Information:
I love spending time with my family. My other love is our 2005 Harley Softail. My hubby and I ride as often as we can.
My family also plays Texas Hold 'Em every Friday w/ friends and my 18 yr. old daughter whoops my a*s on a regular basis.
I have 6 tattoos.
I love music.
I also love my 2 aussies. We also foster aussies for a rescue group.
My hubby and I will be getting into geocaching as soon as we get our GPS in the mail. Can't wait.
I guess that's me in a nutshell.

When I was healing my PF I didn't use my insoles. One of the exercises which helped in bed lie on tummy and curl toes under lifting heels. I have spores on both feet also, it took about 6 months for mine to heal, it also took about 6 months for my sisters to heal after the lazier treatment. We live in Canada where things are very expensive sometime twice what they are in the States, check out the lazier maybe it won't be so expensive down there, I must worn you it is unbelievable painful but gets the healing started. I have had no pain for many years now. It is one of the worst things I have experienced even more painful than having babies. I believe it is caused because our arches are falling, after awhile up the front of my legs were also painful. I also do the Tibetan Rites, maybe check them out on the internet. Keep exercising those feet eventually they will heal. Good Luck. Barb

PS Just reread you comment, I walked hard and fast for 1 1/2 hours a day, then went square dancing most evening for 2 1/2 hours, which would not be the same as being on your feet for 6 1/2 hours a day, it would be very difficult to work on your feet then walk extra.

We are so glad to have you on the team! We’re hoping we have a fabulous Fall into Fitness challenge. Be sure to check in with the team regularly. A few things to acclimate you to the group, or reminders for those returning Orange Members!

emoticon ITC is the inter-team challenges that all Biggest Loser teams are doing together. There is an ITC and then a Bonus . . . which is also all teams.

emoticon OTC is Orange Team Challenge, which are challenges that our team is working toward. Hmmm . . . you will still see references to RTC, because we used to the Red Team and old habits die hard (which we also know from breaking some of our bad health habits). Our team will also have a mini-challenge – which is only our team as well. We will be looking for suggestions from our members so we have everyone’s input on the OTC/RTC and mini-challenges. Watch for that . . . coming soon.

emoticon We will post challenges each Wednesday evening/Thursday morning . . . so watch for those. There will be a challenge posting, and then a posting where you can report your progress just for that week.
