I'm a 39 yr old married stay at home mom of a 15yr old boy.
Achieved***Goal #1- to weigh under 300lbs by July 22, 2013.
Goal #2- 270lbs
Very Long term-To lose enough weight that I don't feel tired and in pain all the time. And to be able to reverse my type 2 diabetes and sleep apnea.
I am using the SHRED diet. I started 2/11/2013.
I enjoy walking/jogging, & hiking, but do to having Plantar fasciitis... I mostly workout on the elliptical at the gym. M,T,Th,F I do 90 min in the morning...M,W,&F I do70 min in the afternoon plus upper body strength training for 1+hrs...T&Th I do 30 min on the stationary bike in the afternoon plus 1hrs lower body strength training. In the afternoons I workout with my son.
My name is Nerissa I am married and have a teenage son. I was born in Oregon, moved to SE Alaska in 1979 when I was 5, grew up there until 1998 when we moved to Nevada, our son was born in 1999, we moved to Idaho in 2001, then moved to Arizona in 2003, then to Montana in June of 2007, then to New Mexico in Dec of 2007 and here we still are.
I love to read my favorite authors are RA Salvatore, Ann Rule, Michael McGarrity, Tony Hillerman, James D. Doss, and Aimee and David Thurlo to name just a few I also like to read the classics like Poe, Doyle, and Twain. I like to watch comedies and anything with Johnny Depp or Robert Downey Jr. As for tv I like crime dramas, comedies, and some educational/historic. Am loving "The Following", "Vikings", "Justified", "Gotham", "Sleepy Hollow"& "Big Bang Theory" right now and can't wait for the new seasons of "Perception", "Franklin and Bash", &"Longmire". I also like to cross stitch, do word puzzles, fish, camp, and hike. And I love animals. But most of all I love spending time with my husband and son.
