Excellent advice on my blog Meghan. When I do eat fruit, I have to monitor my blood sugar. I generally don't have to worry with sugar spikes unless I eat a high gylcemic fruit...so I don't.
My digestion is amazing when I follow Paleo. I don't seem to have a problem digesting meat at all. I am happy to report that I have been off of all legumes since January and only a extremely rare scattering (like probably less than once a week average) of any GF grain. No dairy.
But you focused a new light on the Blood Type Diet and integrating Paleo. It's a possibility. I do want to delve into the Leptin issue as well.
Thanks for dropping by my blog today. I am fairly new to Paleo and the primal way of eating, but so far I absolutely love it. I have found some awesome websites with great recipes and helpful knowledge. It has been easy and fun. I've averaged four lbs. a week the last three weeks, but hope to continue 1-2 lbs. a week from here on out. It appears this way of living also works for you. I am always encouraged when I read other's stories. Like yours! I hope you don't mind I add you so I can follow your progress, too!

Hey there - thanks for the blog comment. I've tried Primal in the past, and it was an awful experience for me. I was on it for 3 months (with my hubby) and we both hated it. My body didn't respond well to the higher fats, I slept terribly, my complexion went crazy and I didn't see ANY benefits at all (weight loss, measurements, etc). The first time I saw "effortless" weight loss in my life was when I went vegan in February and I'm now seeing those effects again since I made the choice to go 5 day vegan/2 day omni.
