I've been trying to pay more attention to what I'm doing when I get cravings. For example (I know this is a little strange) but every time someone walks past my door, I always think they're going to the kitchen! Then I get the munchies a bit, so I've learned to thwart that one. The only other thing is that when I get cravings, it's usually when I'm trying to work or playing a video game, so it's a form of distraction - those ones I can notice, but those are the ones I usually end up ignoring my head and going for the fridge. Buh.

This type of box jump isn't the same but is just as awesome. You put marks on the floor with some tape so that the four marks make a 2' x 2' square. Then you go down into a squat touch the floor and jump to the next box, squat touch the floor and jump to next mark, etc. You have to do one round in the square so 4 jumps to get 1 rep. It's definitely a good workout move!

i think you need to try P90x! It's a ton of fun and goes by quickly! Of course its a ton of hard work, but thats okay, you do as much as you can and you build up from there! I noticed a significant change in the way my body looked and felt last time I did it! If you have any questions, or just want some encouregement let me know! emoticon

Yeah, I'm usually fairly at peace with the disagreement between me and the MIL, but sometimes I just need to VENT! You know?
But it's always nice to realize where I am going right and that would be being calm about my eating habits. Hooray!
How's the weight loss and thesis stuff going?
