looking for motivation and support :)

My downfall over last few years has been too much enjoyment of red wine, going from active job to desk job( now back in active job) and stress... I know I can lose this weight but need some motivation and support.. Sparkpeople has been part of my life and lifestyle for last 5 months and keeps me accountable, thinking about my portion sizes and choices and is great support from people with a common goal.. Thanks everyone who is supporting me!

Hi Deb..Thanks for your comments on my blog! It's great to hear that others understand. I love my red wine also and know this i s going to be such a struggle for me. Hopefully, at some time, I'll feel comfortable having wine for a special treat rather than an everyday want. Have a great day!

Hello!I saw you visited my page and you saw I have many pounds to lose. 150 pounds until I reach your current weight. So, it's not much advice I can give you except from my experience I'm not sure what's your height, but even if you're a little heavier than the catwalk models it doesn't mean you're not healthy or active. emoticon

Anyway, since you wanna do something about this I must say that 3 kg lost in 5 months is not so bad, you're right in the middle. Important is to keep it up. emoticon

I see your weight in kilograms by default, I don't know how to change this so I must say 3kg=6.6 pounds

Well hello. I saw your comment about lacking motivation, so let me share the following....you are a walking, talking, breathing investment....and you are investing in yourself everytime you go for a walk, run, choose healthier eating choices, etc....this is a short and long-term investment and it will pay off.

If the weather is harsh, then think about core exercises that you can do inside...treadmill? light strength training?

So many options...and I have to tell you, when you first started Spark...and when you post, you touch peoples' lives...and not everyone has the knack that you do for writing...

stay strong and face each day as it comes....you can absolutely do this.... emoticon
