I am 27 years old with 3 boys 10,8 and 5. I got married at 17 and at the time weighed 120 pounds but I was 5 months pregnant. Before I got pregnant I weighed 105 and wore size 5. 3 kids later I now weigh 212. I am angry at myself because I can not believe I allowed myself to get this way. I want my enegy back. I want to feel good about myself and I want my husband to have the woman back that he fell in love with. I want my children to know me for who i know i am on the inside. I am here to lose ...

I am here to lose weight and to get the motivation I need. The way it usually works for me is I get motivated to lose weight and I give up after a few weeks. I need to stay motivated and get the job done. 2009 is the year.

My Goals:
I would like to hit my goal weight of 125- 130 by Thanksgiving just in time to add some back on lol

Hit 170- new gym shoes

Hit 150- clothes shopping

130- a night out with the husband

125- swim suit, vacation just me and the hubby, new clothes, and a vacation with the family.

My Program:
Gym 6-7 days a week. Treadmill for 30-35 mins at 3.5 mph-4.0 mph with variety incline, Strength training for 20 mins ( 5 days a week) then back to the treadmill for 20 mins.

Days that I do not do strength training at the gym treadmill 50-60 mins.

At home Everyday variety of exercises with my stability ball, resistant band and 5lb weight ball.

at least 50 jumping jacks a day.

*Update * 6-16-09 - I just added stationary bike for 30-35 mins on top of the tradmill for 30-40 mins and strength training

Don't give up! You seem like a lovely young lady. You have a lovely family too. I am sure you will see the light at the end of the tunnel. Take it day by day..and even if you feel frustrated don't give up!
Vitamin B-12 is also a good energy booster. You can purchase a B-complex sublingual liquid at any Walmart. It is an excellent metabolism support dietary supplement. emoticon

I started PhenChrome yesterday my Gyn prescribed it for me. I feel great. I know I need to still eat right and exercise and make those a habit otherwise when I go off of the med I will gain it all back. I took it this am a little before 8 am and went off to the gym. I kicked ass and feel great. Wed I weighed 212 at the doctor but that was around 4 pm when I got home I weighed myself on my scale got the same weight. This am I weighed at 208. I will weigh every am same time and measure every week on Wed. I go back to the doctor in a month so she can see if I am loosing weight and how I am feeling. I think this just might work..

Hang in there, we've all gotten frustrated at some point in our weight loss. I try to remind myself that I didn't put all my weight on yesterday that it slowly went on over the last 7 years so it's not going to come off that fast. We are learning a healthy way to lose our weight to help us in the long run. I will get easier.
