I have reached my goals-- MAINTAINING---

WITH THE HELP OF SPARKPEOPLE AND OTHERS I HAVE REACHED AND SURPASSED MY GOAL WEIGHT. I have a new realistic goal for my height. I had gone to far and was down to 125 and it was way to small for me. I have been slowly eating more and tring to reach a realitic goal of 135--140. I am at 136 now. I still exercise and I just try to eat more to help me to maintain a new goal. Sometimes in life we carry things to far and I could not see for myself that I was getting to small. I never changed my picture as I did not want people to se that I was getting to thin. My husband was right when he said I was getting to small. My new and honest goal is to stay closer to 140. I went back and read some of the articles in the beginning of my spark journey and now I feel better about myself. Bones protruding is ugly and not what healty is about. So please know your limits.

My Goals:
My goal was to obtain better health, and with the help of sparkpeople I have reached my goal. I went from 218 starting Sept. 06 to 126 on June 07. Right now I am maintaining between 135--140

My Program:
I began by finding this program, and began to read and read and read. I have gained alot of knowledge along the way. I started exerciseing and eating lhealthy small meals several times a day. I made most of my own desserts which were most of the time not over 200 cal. I kept my foods healthy and low cal. so that I could eat alot for few cal. I had a small amount of protein with every snack and every meal. I did some sort of exercise everyday. The weight came off little by little over the year.

Personal Information:
I am a 50 year old white fe-male fromlower Alabama who has been in nurseing since 1989. I really enjoy my work. I have one daughter. I have one dog and 2 cats which I love. My frist husband died when my daughter was 18 months old and she and I spent almaost 11 years alone. She is a type 1 diabetic and I worry about her alot. She is my life.

Other Information:
I have been overweight since I was a small child and never thought I would be thin. I never thought I could do this but I have and it has been for me and not for anyone else. If you work hard (and it is hard work to loss weight) you can obtain your goals.

Saw you in Huddle today and thought I would stop by and say "Hi!" Congratulations on achieving your weight loss goals and by being able to maintain them. I am almost halfway through my last 20 lb. loss and I can't wait to see that ticker all the way down:)

I dn't know what you think about the huddles in the SP teams, but for me they keep me going! Thanks for always huddling with the FitTV Team! It means a lot to see the words go across the screen!

How's maintaning going for you this week? I can't wait to see my ticker go all the way down to 131...WOW! It's great. How's your daughter doing by the way?
