Keeping it Real
My mantra is always "Keep it simple, don't over-think it". So my plan? The plan of 12's: 1200 calories most days, at least 12,000 steps daily and 12 glasses of water daily. I'm having fun with Spark's tools and they really keep me honest. Looking forward to joining some fun, light-hearted teams!

My Goals:
quit drinking, done. Lose 20 lbs caused by said drinking: in progress!
My Program:
tracking all my food and exercise. Keep my diet simple and tasty. Adding too much "stuff" to your daily diet is a recipe for disaster! Keeping my program simple and not over-thinking it. We all have a choice in what we want our program to look like. Do you want it to be simple or complicated? Reliving my childhood is not going to help me lose weight. That kind of thinking went out in the 80's thank God! Let's not add any more emotion to eating than we already have.
Personal Information:
I'm in San Francisco, CA. 3 years ago I returned to my work as a nurse, having taken off 10 years to raise my kids. I live on the beach which makes walking a natural daily ritual for me. I walk my 2 Silky Terriers and sometimes my Fiance' who is thin, super fit and competes in the Ironman Triathelon in Hawaii. I'll be damned if I'll weigh more than him!!!!
Other Information:
I'm perhaps the world's only nurse with conservative values!
