Here to partner with my mother and my sister in my weight loss and fitness goals. I would like to meet other spark buddies as well.

I am 32 year old woman from Austin. I have about 50 pounds to lose and currently have lost 10 pounds of it. I am a jack of all trades and have many interests include live music, indie rock, photography, board games, comedy and travel. I would like to not only lose weight but to get fit, strong and healthy.

3/7/2011 - Weighed in at 182 lbs my highest weight ever
4/21/2011 - Completed an entire 50 minute spin class without resting
10/10/2012 - Lost 20 lbs
10/20/2012 - Ran 5 minutes without rest
10/28/2012 - Reached 6 weeks of consistent exercise
11/24/2012 - Ran in my first 5k race
7/8/2013 - Rebooted my spark people program (starting over again!)

My Goals:
1. Lose 47 pounds

2. Increase my physical fitness (cardiovascular stamina)

3. Become strong enough to be able to bicycle on hilly terrain or go on social rides around town

4. Become strong enough to go rock climbing

5. Complete the Couch to 5K beginners running program (DONE!)

My Program:
30 minutes of cardio 5 times per week. 1400 calorie diet following spark people guidelines for composition.

Thank you for stopping by my blog. Re the nutri bullet. It is much easier than a blender - it has a 600w motor that just about blasts everything, so you don't have to keep pausing between contents (to stop it over heating). It has an attachment for grinding nuts etc so you can also ensure easily incorporate protein into your smoothies without messing with multiple gadgets. I like it because it's fast, efficient and very easy to clean.
