Thank you Tina for your kind words and support. Since I am a little bit older now and more mature, I feel as though I'm more ready than ever. Even though it's been a total struggle, I am extremely excited this time and vow to myself to be disciplined and consistent. Thank you again, and if I can be of any support to you, please let me know. emoticon emoticon

Hi there and thanks for the friend add. I just wanted to stop by to say and to let you know that I've been where you are and that it IS possible to really make positive changes in your life even if you feel like you don't have much support and even if you've failed at your past efforts. I've been a yo-yo dieter my whole life and reached a high weight of more than 260 pounds about ten years ago. I managed to lose 115 pounds, only to slowly gain almost all of it back. I got back up to 240 before I took action. This time around, I vowed to take things much more slowly and do things the right way. It took me more than two years to lose 90 pounds but here I am, maintaining my weight for more than eight months!

You can do it too! Take advantage of the support you can find here and keep poking around until you find your niche. It IS sometimes hard, but it's worth it. Start with baby steps and focus on making changes that you can live with forever. Good luck and hope to see you around!
