Nows The Time To Get It Right!
Hello! I'm at the time of my life where changes have to be made. I'm 40 something and I have diabetes. I know that if I want to continue to grow with my children (especially my 10 year old daughter and my older ones :-) and grandchildren (so far I have one 8 year old granddaughter and a newborn grandson! They are all so beautiful) I need to make lifestyle changes. So here I am :-)! Nows the time!

My Goals:
My goal is to get to a weight (160 or less) to get my diabetes under control and not to be on medication.
My Program:
My program will consist of cardio (at least 55 minutes a day, 5-6 times a week) and strength training. My favorite cardio is walking, so I'll be doing a lot of that. I will also use DVDs such as Leslie Sansone, etc. I will also be tracking my food to see where I need to make changes and adjustments
Personal Information:
I was born in New Orleans, LA and my family moved here to Colorado Springs when I was very young. I love to watch sports and can get very excited doing so :-) I also love to eat which is NOT a good thing but I'm a walker. I love to walk and that will help me to make this lifestyle change and stick to it
