I sit for 9 hours a day at a computer desk too - which is pretty much what got me in the predicament I'm in now! I call it secretary's a$$!

Anyways, congratulations on your weight loss thus far and good luck meeting your goals!!

Thank you for your extra effort in supply me with the article about sitting too long! That really hits home because I have had two blood clots when I had surgery from my legs- so I am always thinking about this- but honestly I get so involved I forget!

It's going to be on my mind more often now! emoticon

Hi, thank you for your feedback on my question about exercise motivation. You are so right - even a few minutes each day is better than nothing. I have been suffering from the all or nothing mindset! I like your comment above - I also work from my computer - at home no less so I don't even get a walk through a parking lot each day! Good luck with your journey - I am supporting you!

I read your post on the 50s+ Team page and thought of this article I had saved. It was pretty eye opening to me...and gave me some big time motivation to keep moving. Hopefully it will help you in some small way, too.
