Thanks for the support! I was just telling Kristin that I'm feeling really good about how I got in my workouts this week, despite some tough conditions. Snow, very high winds, and one day lots of doctor appts for my husband. With my Garmin Vivoactive Smartwatch and by using my heart rate monitor, on the day we were in town, I'd do brisk walking with my heart rate monitor and was able to get my heart rate up high for long periods of time, to make sure I got in a good workout in town. So rather than coming home from town feeling frustrated from sitting around in waiting rooms, I was able to make sure I was very active and came home feeling like I'd accomplished a lot of good things (including being there to support my husband during his actual doctor's appts).
