2013 was supposed to be my year to get healthy and fit but in April I found out I was pregnant with my little girl who was born on December 22nd.

2014 allowed me to make significant changes in my life- I made a leap toward a new career, learned how to juggle working full-time, going to school full-time and being a full-time single mom. I lost all of my baby weight, plus some.

2015 is almost halfway over, I know. BUT I have officially completed my full-time schooling and am now facing more free time than I have had for the last 17 months. I have slowly lost enough weight to almost reach my goal weight but have some additional goals I'd like to reach. More specifically, I lost weight through eating alone- I did very little exercise. As a result, I feel (and am) weak, out of shape and have very little muscle mass.

This is my journey to become more fit and healthy while working toward losing the final pounds needed to reach my goals!
