My Goals:
Breathing easier (less fat), less fatigue (less weight and more muscle). Prevent/slow down progression of prediabetes and its scary side effects. Just enjoy life better from fewer aches and pains and more energy!
My Program:
DILIGENCE: It REALLY works! 20 minutes of exercise absolutely every day keeps the doctor away! Walking is very effective and strength training makes life easier. Situps 1 minute daily--that is 10! What a timesaver! I have learned to like roast turkey and chicken, fish (some), salmon, turkey in place of ground beef (chili, pasta, and even grilling at a low temperature with my own spices and onions)--lots of alternatives--and my cholesterol level is better! A salad in place of a meal really helps me control my incoming calories. The vegies are filling and the vitamins are great for feeling upbeat and healthy. Lemon juice added to bitter, steamed vegetables it really takes out the bitterness; amazing!
