--have a healthier fitness lifestyle

--enjoy and appreciate what I have, not moan about what I don't have

My Program:
I joined Curves and went regularly during the school year but find it hard to do during the summer. I started riding horses again (after 15 years of not). I'm buying more fresh fruits and vegetables. I joined LA Weightloss for my support...no lites or supplements just the accountability.

Personal Information:
I live in SE Ohio (Morgan County) but I'm originally from Syracuse NY. I have a wonderful husband, Randy, who loves me just the way I am, so that makes changes difficult. We have 5 wonderful sons...sophomore at Penn State, freshman at Univ of Dayton (high honors program), freshman in High School, 7th grader and 4th grader. We live on a small farm with sheep, goats, chickens, turkeys, pigs, ducks, geese, 2 draft horses, 3 dogs, 2 cats, 1 hamster, 1 parakeet, 1 Goffin Cockatoo, a guinea pig and a Trantula.

Other Information:
my favorite movie by far is West Side Story

and I spend all of my time doing something for my husband or my kids...

I am terrible at changing my life style without help, hubby thinks I'm fine just the way I am so I must seek support from alternate sources. In this case I started going to Physician's Weight Loss Center (PWLC) for support, weight watchers just didn't do it for me. I know it's a little expensive, but I really can't complain about the results - 10 pounds in 2 weeks! I just extend what I eat to make meals for the family (the other 5) and it isn't so bad. I'm happy if I can stay at 1200 or below. Hope this helps!

Hey, I was browsing trackers and looked at yours because yesterday you ate as many calories as i SHOULD eat. a couple of questions, what is PWLC or whatever, is it some diet food? Also, is that really all you ate yesterday? You are amazing. and i noticed the 5 cookies, I'm so glad I'm not the only who indulges occasionally!

Hi!
Thanks so for the compliments, I appreciate them.
Actually I graduated with my Bachelors in 1986 and went back to school just recently to get my Master's, next step is the PhD!
Good luck in your endeavors, may they be small strides toward your goals.
Norvie

Hi Norvel. I came to your page by searching for SP members somewhat close to my home in SE Ohio. First of all CONGRATULATIONS on the weight you've lost since joining in July 2007 (I joined same month also). Am I correct to think you became a returning student, and graduated with at least a bachelor's degree just this year? Truly my first reaction to your SparkPage photos was that you are a stunningly beautiful woman, with a beautiful family. I've no doubt you can and will again look and feel just like that 20-years-ago picture. And since your husband apparently truly loves YOU, he will be thrilled to have you healthy for many more years.
