Hi. I'm a musician, small business owner, husband and father of two terrific daughters in Nova Scotia. I've been a weight lifting enthusiast since I was a teen, but between asthma and bad diet choices have never seen my personal fitness goal. Well, I turn 40 next spring, and I'm determined that I'll hit it in the best shape of my life, a good example for my children, and possessing visible abs! :)

My Goals:
1. Fit by 40 2. Run 10k in less than an hour 3. Reach 200 lbs at 7% BF 4. Do 15 clean pull-ups 5. Do 10 clean 1 hand pushups 6. Do 10 butt to ground pistols.
My Program:
1. Running 4 days a week varying distances 5-12 km, with a goal of 24 km/week. 2. Russian style GTG weight training in micro sessions throughout the day, 5 days per week. 3. Yoga once a week to stretch and relax.

Other Information:
Do as much quality work as you can whenever you can, while remaining as fresh as possible. This is the Russian philosophy of strength training, and contrasts sharply with Western training to failure. It boils down to this: you'll get stronger faster, and your joints won't hurt :)
