Hello there. My name's Tai, I'm 5'1" and tons of fun. Life is good, but it can always use a little tweak here and there. Hence my Sparkpeople fandom! I'm climbing that mountain, working on becoming a more positive and compassionate person for both myself and my family, all while trying to shed a little weight as well. My Goals:
Mine is an ongoing attempt to live a healthy life, complete with balanced meals, regular exercise, meditation, anf lots of energy.

Oh, yeah, losing a couple of pound might help.

My Program:
I follow the 1200 - 1500 daily calorie range, but try and focus on eating lots of "perimeter foods", i.e., fresh foods you find at the perimeter of the grocery store like fruits, veggies, meats and fish. I try to round that out with lots of whole grains and organic vegetation.

For exercize, 45 minutes of cardio 6 days a week, 20-40 minutes of weight/circuit training 3 days a week. If I have the time I try and fit in 45 minutes of yoga about once a week.

It feels good...

Thank your your inspiring comment on my blog! It's a lot more daunting thinking about it than it is just DOING IT! Exercise has just always been something I hate but hopefully that will change soon!
