Dropping by with a warm welcome to SparkPeople's Official Healthy Family Makeover Challenge! I wanted to wish you and your family much success on reaching all your goals. This 4 week challenge will help you get your household on the right track to eating better, getting more active, and spending more quality time together.

If you haven't done so, please introduce yourself to the team, follow the action steps and feel free to open a discussion. If you have any questions or need any assistance, please feel free to contact me.

    A little inspiration:

Good for the body is the work of the body, good for the soul the work of the soul, and good for either the work of the other. ~ Henry David Thoreau

Much love and light on your journey.

    Keep Smiling,

    Mandy ツ

Thank you for stopping by my blog and for your comment! Great job so far! Take into consideration what BuckHoldt says about the core pain (I assume it's regarding your back as you have blogged). Hang in there. Maybe go get a massage (at least you have a good excuse for one)! I also find that taking a hot bath with Epsom salt ($2/bag at a grocery store in the cosmetic isle) and baking soda work wonders for sore muscles, too. I hope it gets better soon!

Any pain in the core area is tough. If you feel the pain you are going too far.

When strength training, you take a day off to let the muscles relax and grow. (sometimes two)

I kind of laughed when I read your blog. I'm having a similar problem. I am following my own advice.

Thank you so much for the encouraging words and the ideas on my blog. I have been known to walk laps at the kids practices and games before, so I think I should be able to fit it all in. We all love Subway and do eat there over McDonalds where ever possible. Thanks again!

P.S. I am very happy for you that you still have a job. Nothing worse than not know if you are going to be one of the ones laid off. Congrats.
