I've been struggling to lose weight for just over 2 years. I started at a whopping 260 pounds at the beginning of my senior year of high school in late August 2007. From there I joined Weight Watchers, and had a lot of success.

Buuuut, my social life took off. I guess once I lost some of the weight I became more confident. Which was good, except I was sick of being a recluse and sitting on the computer all day. I started socializing a LOT, making up for lost time if you will haha. I kind of forgot about my goals, but maintained my weight. I slowly lost more weight until about March of this year, where I picked up again. Over the summer I turned 19, quit smoking cigarettes, and started p90x. At my lowest weight, I was 198 pounds. I hadn't been under 200 since I was 13 (and was 5'1'' at the time, compared to my now 5'7'' =P), and I was only 38 pounds from my ultimate goal.

And then in the beginning of August, I got an effing boyfriend and started college.

LOLGOALS were replaced by studying for statistics tests, attempting to keep a social life, and enjoying time with my first boyfriend. Oh yeah, and eating WAY TOO MUCH CRAP WITH MINIMAL PHYSICAL ACTIVITY! *gasp*

So here I am, December 3rd 2009, standing (or sitting?) at 219 pounds.

I'm ready to freaking lose weight. There's no if's and's or but's about it. I did not work my BUTT off to get THAT CLOSE, and then screw it all up because my boyfriend's mom hates anything low-fat with a fiery passion and the cafeteria at school hates me.

No. I quit smoking. I'm working my tail off in school to qualify for nursing school. I have the knowledge and the support to lose weight. Heck, I even know that if I STARTED working out again, I would LOVE IT, and be happy!

It's that initial getting-off-your-butt moment that you need, and that moment was today. No more fat Natalie.

Thanks for reading! =]

My Goals:
I just want to like what I see in the mirror, and feel fit and strong. I like taking care of my body, I just suck at following through.

My Program:
-P90X (I LOVE IT!)
-Extra cardio at the gym whenever it tickles my fancy
-Nice walks with my boyfriend.

-I'm going to follow the outlines for carbs, calories, fat, etc. here on Sparkpeople, but I'll choose my own food. I make it a point to try and eat as many vegetables as I can in the day, and a good amount of fruit. I also want to reduce my portion sizes and I've switched back to lowfat. When my boyfriend's mom makes something that's too high fat, I have Smart Ones frozen dinners to get me by.

Personal Information:
I live in Northern California and I'm a college student, hoping to get into an RN program.

For fun I like hanging out with my boyfriend and my friends, baking, exercising, reading, watching movies, and going on road trips.

I've always loved the surgical side of the hospital. What area are you wanting to work in?

I started P90x a few months back and did it for about a month and then got off schedule. Haven't started back yet, but need to soon.

I am starting back to school in Jan. I took several years off and I am finally ready to go back and be dedicated to it. I'm getting my associates right now. I may go back later and get my Bachelors in order to be a surgical nurse. I think it really just depends on the hospitals and the state.

I see a comment from a P90X leader. Did you just start that?

I noticed that we have some things in common! We both like cats, both did weight watchers, we both quit smoking, we both have brown hair and have never met a blonde Natalie.

Wonder what else we have in common? Lets see...

I was born In Fairbanks Alaska, moved to Moses Lake WA when I was 15, moved to Hayward CA for a few months, and now I am back in Moses Lake. I have had issues with depression all my life.

I love to draw, my favorite color is blue, my favorite foods are icecream, spaghetti, and fetachinni alfredo.

I was adopted when I was 4. I have a sister named Tammy who is a year younger than me, she is the all american girl, blonde hair blue eyes, skinny because she doesn't like food. And I have a 40 something year old brother who is no relation to me, he is my adoptive mom's son.

Oh I used the Dr. Phil's weight loss challenge book/show to lose 50 lbs 5 years ago and got into peak physical shape. I kept it off for 3 years, then on my honeymoon I slacked off and started gaining it back while we were struggling to conceive our daughter. When I finaly got pregnant I weighed 120 (up 15 from wedding day), then I gained 50 lbs with the pregnancy and topped off at 175. Then after birth I settled back to 145. And now I'm pregnant again. But happily I have only gained 20 this time and I am due next week.

Sorry this is so long! Just some more homework for you to read LOL!
