Getting Healthy Again

My name is Angela. I was informed yesterday by my doctor that my cholesterol was slightly eleveated but not high yet. I am currently trying to exercise more and change my diet to get it back down and be healthy again!

Hi there. I will tell you there are many articles you can read about all of this.
Moderation is the key. the best way to learn is to do a SPARK search because they mostly keep it simple. Once you go to the web and you see WEB MD and who understands that so read on Spark.
Do you know all of your numbers and here they should be that is in there just put in the search box cholesterol numbers and I have printed them off.
DID the Dr tell you exercise will help your Cholesterol numbers.
Our bodies make cholesterol and we NEED it to survive.
it used to be all sorts of things were not good. Now that has been changed. I find Ground turkey to be fatty and 94/6 ground Round much better they both can be dry but ground turkey had skin ground in. i like lean park and lean beef. We do eat eggland best eggs and I use egg whites from boxes for cooking. EGG yolk is very nutritious and I do not throe nutrition in the trash, I use 1 egg and 3 tablespoons of egg white. That gives you a lot more protein.
I have high triglycerides these are being labelled the IMPORTANT
Numbers because they are the ones that clog arteries. Eating a lot of white sugar in fact sugar and processed food in general is not helpful.
There are a lot o f help on the message boards too. To make this site work try to work at communicating with people and you will learn a lot. Take care do a little reading and you will find what you need to do. If you have another Dr appointment make sure you write down any questions you have not found answers to.
