Hello everyone! I'm a busy grad student who has joined SparkPeople for some support and advice during my weightloss journey. I have well over 100 pounds to lose (in a dream world, it would be 150 lbs) so I need all the help I can get! I love to be a motivator and helper to others as well!!

I'm sure someone in town is probably hiring but, nearing my own retirement, I don't keep up with that type of thing.

Good luck in finding something you would enjoy!

Welcome back to town! It would seem that Team Tallahassee isn't very sociable! I was hoping a spark mail to the full team would get something going for you but can't see any progress. In truth, there are less than a handful of team members who bother to check in at all.

Of the active members, a couple of us are "older". One spends summers out of State in the mountains so won't be around for social activities. I live outside of the city and, because I still work, my evenings & weekends are devoted to my spouse, home, yard and fur-babies. My external socialization, other than with co-workers, is pretty much limited to my fellow members of the Tai Chi Society because I go there every day.

Good luck finding someone to be a walking partner! Maybe you'll find a "sole -mate" (pun intended) on campus.

Eliza

Glad to see you back! It's amazing home much brush and space a seemingly tiny tree really is when you take it down. We had to hold some back as I'm already afraid that the yard guys won't take a lot of it. Our neighborhood tends toward the types who have fire pits and bonfires, so we're hoping someone helps themselves. Otherwise, we may be burning or taking that trip to the landfill.
