63 y/o. Ive been married for 11 years to a very supportive husband. Love riding my horse, Charlie Brown, playing my guitar, reading and working out. I especially like to camp and ride with my horsey friends. I have lost just over 35 pounds and I'm working on 10 to 12 more. I am very persistent and I know I will get it off. The hardest part will be keeping it off! I know I can do that too! :)

Something just sunk into this thick skull of mine! It has to do with Calories in and Calories burned! I just realized that when I eat between 1200 and 1400 calories, and burn 500 to 1000, that I am maintaining my weight or gaining. I didn't realize that when you burn 500 to 1000 calories that it is deducted from the calories eaten. If you deduct those 500 or 1000 calories from your intake, you are eating way less than your calories therefore, putting your metabolism in starvation mode! Hmmmm..

So I am allowing my tracker to sync with my nutritio tracker and it will set up the calories I need to burn according to what I am burning! It also motivates me to get my exercises in early so I can get all the calories in. I lost a couple tenths in one day! Hmmm...Something to ponder!
