NoFrets Welcomes You!

I have reached the point where I have to do something NOW and do something effective. I'm tired of hiding, tired of staying home when I would rather go out and have fun. I want to feel comfortable in my own skin and I am here to try and dig myself out of this hole!

I have a terrible time getting motivated. I know I need to find a way up the hill so that I can catch some sense of momentum. I am so out of shape once again, starting at the very bottom of that hill once again. I ...

I have no excuse. During one of my breaks away from this community, I tried Weight Watchers online. Maybe I'm just used to SparkPeople, but I left after the 30-day trial; it just didn't seem helpful to me at all. SP is SO much easier, and the community here is much more friendly and supportive. If I have a chance at all at turning things around for myself, it'll be with the help of all my SparkPeople friends. So thank you for that! Wish me luck!

Such a cute spark page! Sometimes we need encouragement to keep going. Try to remember we can and we will do it! Good Luck! emoticon

Hi Crissy,
How's the toe? Hope it is feeling better. I know it's miserable to be laid up, especially with foot or hands problems.

I've been doing a tag challenge on my BLC#7 - 12-Week Challenge team. You have to tag someone to do something. I haven't tagged you because of your situation, but I got to thinking, what's friends for. I didn't want you left out. So... I challenge you, if your strength is back, to do 10 bicep curls if not, then the challenge is to read 3 motivational articles and get spark points.

We lucked out with Gustav and maybe Hanna, but New Orleans surely don't need another one. There are two more depressions swirling around out there. Busy season.

Here's wishing you a good, and painless, weekend.
