Hi:
I'm a married father of two who rediscovered a healthy lifestyle after 20 years of driving the couch. In 2008, I lost almost 70lb on the Jenny Craig program and in 2009 I started regular exercise. Running was my big thing, but I've been sidelined since May 2010 by an achilles issue that just will not go away.

I am using SparkPeople because I have regained 30lb so I need to reverse the trend and get back on my weight loss path.

Hi! Thanks for the encouragement and the suggestion of measuring over weighing in for a while. I'll have to take some starting measurements and check again in 2 weeks. Thanks again! And good luck on your last 20 lbs, too!! You can do it! emoticon

I'm also an avid runner and just recently started cycling as well! Good luck on the 100-mile trek this Fall!

What a great decision you have made to join Spark People. It is an amazing site! The really cool thing is that it is FREE!! There is tons of information to absorb here and there is always someone around to help if you find yourself having a bit of trouble.

Want to make another great decision? Come check out my page. I am a co-leader of a team called QuickFire. It is the best team around by far! Yes, I am bias, but what do you have to lose? If you like what you see about the team, feel free to join! We would love to have you on board with us.

WARINING!! It is proven that QuickFiring can lead to a HOT BODY! I dare you to come play the QuickFire way!!!
