I am a 41 year old from Qualicum Beach, BC, Canada. I have been a Spark member since February 2006. My motivation to live a healthy, happy, peaceful life stems from the desire to rebuild my life after many stressful life events over the past few years. I look forward to marrying my soul mate on May 30th, 2015.
It has been a journey for sure! I've dropped over 20lbs managed to gain it all back again. I was 132lb over last summer BUT quit exercising drank beer, ate steak and gained to my present 144lb. My goal is to reclaim my 130lb body. I felt more comfortable at that weight.
I have a background in Nursing as well as Dietary Technology.
I am currently in the Food Service Management Industry and have 3 children ages 1, 13 and 11 years.
I have a Bowflex home gym treadmill and a variety of free weights and equipment. I also have a variety of Beachbody programs including TurboJam, P90X, ChaLEAN Extreme, and most recently Insanity and P90X3. I have also taken up running 5km 2-3 times per week with my dog.

To STAY MOTIVATED I DO THIS ALL THE TIME:::
1) come in, read the posts, and do your postings
2) read, join any teams that you think you like, go to My Spark Points (click there) and spin the wheel, (that is where you go everyday to start with those points)
3) get it know the people and make new friendships
4) read some article.... (you make points reading these too)
5) make yourself to exercise like walking, jogging, or whatever you would like to do
6) most of all :: have fun and enjoy yourself
If there is anything that I can do to help, give me a holler. If I do not know the answer, I will find it. Our leaders are really great and help when you need it too. So don't hesitate to ask. That is why we are here ...I'm a single Mom of 3 grown sons......
