5 Pounds before Thanksgiving

I have found that making large goals discourages me. So this time I am going to make small goals and see if I can stick with it a little better. My first goal is to lose 5 pounds before Thanksgiving. Another 5 before Christmas. Then see if I can lose another 5 before I go on vacation in March. I hope to be getting married next summer and already have my wedding dress. I bought it 3 years ago and can't get it completely zipped anymore. My ultimate goal is to be able to fit into the dress ...

I bought it 3 years ago and can't get it completely zipped anymore. My ultimate goal is to be able to fit into the dress by May. I estimate that I am going to have to lose roughly 15-20 pounds to be able to fit comfortably into the dress.

My Goals:
My goals are to get more in shape. After high school I dropped just about everything I did - especially running. I know that I will never look as I did in high school (nor do I want to) but I would like to feel thinner and more in shape.

My Program:
I attend a one hour high impact aerobics class twice a week that my church offers. It helps to keep me motivated and I enjoy the people that are there. I also try to make sure that I get up each morning and do situps to get me started for the day and try to do them before I go to bed so that I can end the day on a good note.
