Update...
6/10/09 been gone for a bit, got pregnant!! most likely would not have happened at my age without the weight loss and increase in health. Baby is due in August and I have been using the sister site babyfit to keep up. Look forward to being back on spark in a couple of months to take off the baby weight (+a few extra I hope!)

Update 9/17/2008 As of this morning I have lost 30 pounds with Sparkpeople. This is on the eight month anniversary on the site!! I look ...

My best advice for everyone is to use that food tracker everyday and every bite, especially those "less than perfect" days. We can only learn to do better by understanding our mistakes. Knowledge is power.

Food logging is the difference between all of my other diet yo-yo's and my success with Spark.


- 90 days and 17 pounds now, I feel great and ready for anything. by next October I will be at goal and fit for the first time in 15 years.

- update, 100 days and 20 pounds, only 17 to go for goal, in 12 more pounds I will no longer be overweight!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Have not been this slim since my daughter (22) was in second grade.

- Birthday update 5/4/08 - I am at 155 and looking forward to seeing the 140's in a few weeks. Desspite a few health setbacks I have stayed on course.

- 7/4/08 Well, it took longer than I planned to get in the 140's, today I hit 149.4 so 2 months to lose aobut 6 pounds. Slower but still going in the right direction.

8/18/2008 Physical today I will blog about the results!! hope to see real improvments!
