Hi! I'm a 30 year old married woman in Chicago looking to lose the rest of the weight I vowed to lose 4 years ago. Started on WW, lost 25 of the original 50 I had wanted to, then tapered off. Lost another 12 before my wedding about 2 years later, and here I am - a year after my wedding, having put that weight back on. Now, I'm back to needing to lose 31 pounds...

My Goals:
Excercise 30 mins each day - a walk, jog, or workout at the gym all count. Just MOVE!

Drink my Isagenix shakes every morning for energy and calorie burn.

Take my multi-vitamin daily.

I went for the longest time thinking... my family loves me and it's not like I have anyone to impress so I guess this is just who I am. It wasn't until I seen some pictures of myself in my bathing suit this summer that I realized I was out of control. My inner image of myself was much different than I actually looked. That's when I joined SP! I can't tell you how much this site has helped me lose.

Keep up all that motivation you have! Before long you will have so many friends on here giving advice and pep talks that you'll wonder how you managed without it. You too will lose weight as quick as you want with hard work and determination. This is a great community of possitive thinkers and doers! You won't be able to help yourself from becoming totally involved and wanting to keep at it!

Thanks for your comment on my blog NK2009! I've just been keeping my nutrional values in check and doing light cardio (stationary bike and walking) as well as my strength training (floor exercises and my exercise ball). I have asthma so I can't do anything aerobic just yet, but I'm working up my body (and lungs) with hopes of getting stronger so I can do more. I suppose my loss is just a result of finally being ready to lose weight and doing it the right way. I really contribute most to eating a lot fewer calories and fat. The workouts weren't doing a darned thing until I started tracking my food.
