Coming back on here and admitting my weight gain to myself and the spark community has been difficult. I long avoided it because it felt like failure. And so I continued my long hours at work and my MBA and got bigger and bigger.

Taking matters into my own hands, on my own, I started eating better and dropped some weight pretty quickly. Then I got pregnant and that went out the window. I managed to keep my weight to low-normal pregnancy gain, and dropped almost all of it after giving birth.

I went back to work and stayed at a steady weight, but then resigned to study full time and now here I am, most of my way to my MBA, but 8kg heavier than after giving birth.

It is time to get a new job, which means I need to fit back into my work clothes. So here I am... Watch this space.

Personal Information:
I am from a little country called New Zealand. We are known for our sheep and our wine - but given that I don't drink wine or eat lamb it's a bit wasted on me.

We are also known for our dairy products - you can't beat kiwi milk, cheese and ice cream - not the most healthy mix in the world, but an excellent source of protein!

If you have never been to New Zealand it is really worth a looksee, I have travelled quite a bit and yet I always come home.


Other Information:
I am working on my career in Marketing right now and my eventual goal of taking over the world ala:
Pinky: "Gee Brain, what do you want to do tonight?"
The Brain: "The same thing we do every night, Pinky—Try to take over the world."
