I always worked hard to have the nice body that I had when I was younger. I was a competitive gymnast for a long time, which helped, but I still always felt like I could be thinner. I have gone through a lot over the years, struggling with eating disorder and drug dependencies, which has caused my weight to fluctuate within about 50 pounds at any given time, during my adult life. After finally getting healthy in late 2006, I began to gain weight at a rapid rate, onto my lean 120lb. body frame. I became pregnant with my second daughter in Oct. 2007 and was shocked to see 195lbs. on the scale at my first midwifery appointment. Since my daughter has been 8 weeks old I have been working diligently to regain myself through my body. I am now (almost a year later) FINALLY starting to see results and it really feels good!

My Goals:
I am graduating in December and want to be, at MOST, 170 pounds by then. I can do it.

I am *supposed* to be going on a cruise in March or April of next year and want to be, at MOST 150 by then. I can do it.




My Program:
Right now, I don't have much of a program, unfortunately. I am the catering manager of a popular sandwich chain, so the hours I work are CrAzY!! There are days when I have to be at work until midnight, just to go back at 4:30AM and work until 2PM. After this long day, I go to school at night from 5:30 until 9:45, leave school and go back to work until midnight. Needless to say, by then end of the week I am EXHAUSTED. So, I try to eat sensibly throughout the week and work out on the weekends.... but I haven't seen a loss in quite some time! However... I know I can do it.

Other Information:
I have two BEAUTIFUL daughters, Aurora and Olivia, that are my inspirations each and every day. I am currently a Marketing major at Augusta State University and will be graduating in December of 2010! I want to look great at my graduation (and my graduation trip!!) and am prepared to take on whatever I need to to make that happen.

    WOW sweetie!! I dont even know when you find time to sleep!!
    All i know to tell you is that life will get less hectic for you once you are done with school...what are you majoring in?
    That will free up all kinds of time for you when you finish! Huh?
    I am so proud of you and how hard you are working and going to school and making time for your girls a priority!!
    Once you graduate you can leave that crazy job at Panera bread behind!! That has got to be tough!!
    Perhaps try to bring some fruit and veggies from home to snack on so you wont be hungry and more tempted by the food there!
    Just do the best you can do nutrition wise and the only place i see where you can sneak in some fitness, is when you take a bathroom break, stop and do a set of squats or wall push ups...just any kind of strength training...i learned this trick from one of my favorite teams here on spark....QuickFire...it is all about breaking up one exercise a day into 4 sets of 25 spread throughout your day. 5 or 10 minutes here and there is just as effective as doing it all at once!
    I think teaching your girls healthy habits is so important...i wish i knew what i know now about eating healthy when i was your age...i would have loved to impart this knowledge to my daughter when she was little!!
    Keep your chin up and do the best you can....

    So happy to see ur back!! Wow u really do have a crazy schedule, but hang in there focus on what is going to make u happy and just try to hang in there. I love the last line of ur comment about being skinny this time next year. That's precisely what I'm shooting for. I'm supposed to go on a cruise this time next year and refuse to be the fat girl on the ship lol I want to actually look good in my bathing suit for once! Well it was very nice to hear from u and yes we CAN do this!! emoticon

    Hi Nina! I was so glad to see your comment on my page! I have DEFINIETLY stopped sparking and am trying to respark! We CAN do this! Unfortunately I did gain some weight back and was really disgusted with myself...but I'm finally getting back on track...Keep in touch and hang in there with that busy schedule of yours! I'm sure there's a light at the end of the tunnel somewhere in the future!
