Hello! My name is Nina and I'm officially in my 40's. Wow. How'd I get here.

I have a history of being active and athletic. I also have a LONG history of struggling with weight. I've set some serious goals to get healthy this year.

I believe life changes take time. Changing habits takes time too. I appreciate having this page and the food tracker for accountability.

My Goals:
1.) Sometimes you have to diet. I used to be totally against this... but for me, I have found that to get to the lifestyle change part I have to start by being willing to make some sacrifices.

2.) Regular exercise so that I can eventually run distance races again and spend more time in the outdoors.

3.) Become a good role model to my new son.

My Program:
1.) Tracking all of my calorie intake through Sparkpeople and keeping it to 1200 cals/day.

2.) Spreading my calories evenly throughout the day and avoiding empty carbs.

3.) Regular exercise through a trainer who guides me in cardio exercise and weight/resistance training.
