You Can't Take the Sky From Me

Okay I'm updating this for the new year. I've gone up and down with my weight like most people. Right now I'm at about 165. At one point last year I was down to 155 but I'm starting this new year off honest.

I love to eat and exercise does bore me at times. I'm insecure when I workout but I'm trying to get over it. I'm learning to eat more vegetables and not just focus on weight loss but on overall health. I'm recently married (Oct 2014) and my husband and I want to start a family ...
Okay I'm updating this for the new year. I've gone up and down with my weight like most people. Right now I'm at about 165. At one point last year I was down to 155 but I'm starting this new year off honest.

I love to eat and exercise does bore me at times. I'm insecure when I workout but I'm trying to get over it. I'm learning to eat more vegetables and not just focus on weight loss but on overall health. I'm recently married (Oct 2014) and my husband and I want to start a family one day. I don't want my children growing up the way I did with food so I want to have a good relationship with food and myself before I have children. That's one my focus is on.

Goal Weight 140

I have 25 pound to lose until I reach what is possibly my ideal weight. It may change because I honestly don't know how I will feel at 150 or 145 or 140. I enjoy lifting weights so maybe I'll be heavier but leaner. Or maybe I'll get to 140 and realize 130 is do-able. We'll see.

My Goals:
Even though my main goal is to lose weight I want also learn to like myself no matter what size I am.

I'd also love to do a mini-triathlon eventually.

Goal Weight 130
Run a 5k in 35 min

My Program:
I don't have set program just yet. I'm trying to just keep track of my calories and workout once or twice a week to start. I want to eventually work out 5 times a week but I know if I do put that pressure on myself I'll bail so I'm starting slow.

Live in Michigan, want to move south one day.

Thanks for stopping by my blog! It feels good to be back for real and not just lurking around! Pizza is just the most amazing thing and you have a great plan with yours! I will probably still have it about twice a month as well but will order the delite styles from Papa Murphy's or the new Skinny Pizza at Pizza Hut. :)

Hey! My new job is working at a coffee bar in a grocery store- roasting beans, getting drinks, etc. Not super stressful work with a decent pay scale and dependable hours, which was exactly what I was looking for.

Matt usually completes the task lists or almost completes them. He's a dirty procrastinator though, so there's been times I've come home early (but not super early) to find the things not done. We talk though. He tries, but I definitely feel like I have to remind him to keep trying. He still needs training though, he's never really had a long term live in girlfriend. Long term bachelor and professional slacker. Haha.

Hello! Thanks for commenting on my page. I did just ride out the bug, it was about 2 weeks of feeling off, worse the first week and getting better the second. I did not go to the doctor because I didn't really have any symptoms besides nausea and the food issues and a general malaise. If I had not started improving tho, I would have gone, so definitely go see your doctor if you aren't improving. Take care!
